Navajo-guided slot walk · Page, Arizona
A one-hour guided walk through Lower Antelope Canyon, a slot on Navajo Nation land near Page, with entry and a Navajo guide in the listing title. It is not in Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, but it is the easy slot-canyon day to pair with a White Pocket trip.

First, the geography. Antelope Canyon is in the Lake Powell Navajo Tribal Park on Navajo Nation land, outside Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. Page is 36 miles east of the Wire Pass trailhead turn-off on US-89, per the BLM, and the BLM puts the condor viewing site about 1 hour 15 minutes from Page. Treat it as a separate day, or a half day on the way between the two.
Navajo Nation Parks says it plainly: tour guides are mandatory in Antelope Canyon. You can't walk in on your own, and there is a $15 per person tribal entry fee on top of any tour. This listing has the entry and a Navajo guide in its title, which covers both requirements in one booking. It runs 1 hour, the listing calls it a small group, and it has one of the biggest review records of any tour in the region.
Two rules surprise people: dogs are banned at all Navajo tribal parks, and Navajo Parks issues no photography or filming permits for Antelope Canyon, so every visit is a regular guided tour.
The canyon is just outside Page on Navajo land. Arrive early and mind the time zone (see tips).
Guides are required by Navajo Parks for every visit, and the listing includes one.
Down into the canyon and through the narrow, curving passages with the guide setting the pace and pointing out the light.
Out of the canyon and back to town. Lake Powell and Horseshoe Bend are close by for the rest of the day.
